Staff read Resolution 2026-034 awarding a printing and mailing contract to Glorified Printing Inc., d/b/a Minuteman Press, under ITB 26-3410-27B for Lakes News printing and mailing at an amount not to exceed $18,062.93 per quarterly publication. The consent package also included Resolution 2026-035 authorizing application for an Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant through the Broward Sheriff's Office in the amount of $28,809; Resolution 2026-036 related to Resilient Florida grant documents for Fire Station 37 hardening project; Resolution 2026-038 authorizing an agreement with Culinary Affairs by Dominic, Inc. for the 2026 summer food program at Willie Webb Senior Park funded through the Florida Department of Agriculture; and Resolution 2026-039 to accept $145,975 from the Children's Services Council of Broward County for MOST summer camp opportunities with city matching funds up to $9,883.
One consent item (Resolution 2026-037, an opportunity-zone nomination) was pulled and tabled for a later date at a commissioner’s request; the remaining consent items were approved on the record.
