Police chief outlines school-supply drive, helmet fittings and National Night Out plans

Bridal previewed National Night Out on Aug. 4, including planned vendor and mascot appearances and partnership activities, and noted the department's use of BWC reimbursement grants to purchase officers' ballistic vests valued at about $1,600 each. He also reported traffic enforcement activity in recent weeks, listing totals for stops and citations.
