Recreation staff reported 120 registrations in the past 60 days and said the township has 1,278 accounts in its recreation system. Staff reviewed recent programs, including line dancing, chair yoga and summer playground activities that featured visits from the Lancaster Science Factory and the Lancaster Library.
Staff listed upcoming programs and trips: a Cape May bus trip on Aug. 8, a creek exploration/stream study and a movie-in-the-park scheduled for Aug. 21. Staff also noted reservations for the pavilion fields are being taken for 2026. "We had between 300 and 400 community members that attended" the 250th celebration, staff said, and volunteers and business sponsors helped support events.
No policy changes were proposed during the report; staff asked the board to consider supporting certain promotional efforts and to let staff coordinate reservation and registration logistics.
