Pierre Arbor Board staff said they updated the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) management plan to reflect recent survey results and new removal-cost estimates. Amanda, a city staff member, reported that she incorporated survey results from August, which were conducted by John Ball, and removed outdated information from the plan.
The updated plan also includes revised removal cost estimates based on Dr. Ball's report; Bryan suggested uploading the revised plan to the city's website and returning it to the board for review and approval when a fuller membership can be present. No formal approval was recorded at the April 28 meeting; staff said they will seek broader input and final approval at the next meeting.
