Township approves multiple maintenance contracts and grader repairs

The Silver Creek Township Board of Supervisors on June 3 accepted a set of maintenance actions including a bid award for road overlays and approval of needed equipment repairs. Supervisor Andy Christensen moved to accept Knife Rivers' bid for overlays and the motion was seconded by Supervisor Sandy Forsman; the board carried the motion 3‑0.
The board also approved Astechs' bid for the UTBWC project, authorized necessary grader repairs to be completed, and approved a motion by Chairman Mike Helman to list used culverts for sale on MNBid. Each of those motions was seconded and passed 3‑0. The motions were handled under the Maintenance agenda item and recorded as unanimous votes.
