The committee reviewed and approved four contracting actions covering insurance advisory, utility relocation, property mitigation demolition, and a USGS gauge agreement.
Staff described each item: an on-call extension with Aon Risk Services Central with an estimated annual amount of $5,000 for advisory services; a first task order to begin decommissioning and relocation of the Minn Kota substation (estimate a little over $200,000); an award to LINCO for demolition and site clearing (low bid $271,397.50 versus engineer’s estimate of about $286,000); and a one-year agreement with the U.S. Geological Survey for $34,760 to stand up and maintain a gauge at County Road 16 and decommission the existing gauge south of Oxbow.
The committee moved, seconded and approved the contracting actions by roll call. Staff noted some reimbursements under third-party MOUs remain contingent on those parties completing their work.
