Commission gives RV owner 90 days to repair or remove vehicle after nuisance determination

The owner's representative, Deb Shafer, appealed remotely and said the owner has been actively repairing the vehicle but progress is constrained by disability and limited finances. "He's invested every spare dollar into this RV...he simply just needs time," Shafer said, asking the commission to allow repairs to continue.
Commissioners debated a remedy and ultimately directed staff to accept findings of the inspections department, deny the appeal, and allow the owner 90 days to repair or remove the RV; if the vehicle remains unrepaired after that period staff will have it towed per contract. The motion passed by roll call.
