The Muskego City Library Board approved the allowable‑cost worksheet for 2027 after staff updated the form with newly provided indirect‑cost figures from Citi. S4 told trustees that the city’s finance contact provided accurate indirect‑cost calculations and that the change — an increase of just under $3,000 — did not materially affect the operating budget.
"Basically, you need to sign... Don't leave without signing it," S4 told trustees, explaining that the indirect cost captures city services that are not billed separately (for example, facilities or attorney review) and that some libraries must pay those costs out of their own budgets. The board voted by voice to approve the worksheet and staff will sign and file the documents as required by Bridges funding procedures.
