Library staff (S4) told the board the library met with the cleaning contractor after complaints about service and that the previous cleaner was dismissed for inadequate performance. After supervisory follow‑up and documented expectations, the library engaged a new two‑person cleaning crew. S4 said supervisors took after photos to document standards and that the contractor agreed to reimburse or credit a previous window‑cleaning charge that the library had paid in error.
"They were taking photos. They were cleaning themselves and then taking after photos to show the cleaning crew, like, this is what is expected," S4 said, describing the corrective meeting with the contractor. Trustees said they were satisfied with the steps taken and the board moved on to other agenda items.
