Kevin Gish made the motion to relocate the Nov. 3 general election to the church foyer; Chelsea Gray seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The discussion noted the same construction-related concerns that prompted the August primary relocation: the Sharon Elementary School gym will be under construction over the summer and may not be available in November.
Board members considered the Town Offices as an alternate polling place; Helen Barrett raised concerns that using the Town Offices disrupts Town Office personnel. Town Clerk Cathy Sartor reported the church foyer is accessible and that she had spoken with Ken Wright about use of the space.
