The Silver Creek Township Board voted to authorize several maintenance-related expenditures at its Sept. 2 meeting. Chairman Helman moved to approve up to $9,250 for grader tires, including installation; Supervisor Andy Christensen seconded and the motion carried 3-0. Earlier in the maintenance discussion the board approved paying $45 per person for staff to attend the Fall Maintenance Expo.
The board also authorized pit reclamation work for up to $30,000 this season and directed staff to begin collecting estimates for a new hot box. These items were recorded as part of the maintenance report and passed without dissent.
