A Corps representative updated the board on construction milestones and turnovers. "As Jason said, you are the proud owners of another structure as of July 20," the Corps speaker reported, noting the Red River structure is about 97% complete and that the goal for turning that structure over to the diversion authority is "around August 20 if everything continues to go well."
The Corps also reviewed status on multiple reaches and crossings: SC1B is about 85% complete and placing topsoil, SC2B at 93% with turf establishment, and work on embankments, culverts and paving continues in other reaches. The speaker said several roadway reopenings (County Road 81, County Road 6, County Road 2/160th Ave S) are targeted in the coming weeks to months.
Board members did not take action on the Corps report; the update was presented as part of the regular project‑status segment.
