Williston BCA reviews voter checklist under 17 VSA ahead of Sept. 20 deadline

Town Clerk Sarah Mason told the Board of Civil Authority on Feb. 3, 2025 that the biennial review of the Williston voter checklist follows the requirements of 17 VSA 2150 c, d (7). She asked members to review the list for duplicate voters, deaths occurring out of state, and people who appear to have moved.
Mason said the board will complete and forward a Certificate of Completion to the Secretary of State’s office well before the Sept. 20 deadline specified in the minutes. The review is a statutory procedural requirement to maintain an accurate voter checklist and support upcoming town meeting and election administration.
