Summary

Trustees heard that the development authority meeting was delayed pending the audit, and that Michael Green, CPA (Stillwell, Oklahoma) will lead the fiscal 2025 audit. The trustee explained the auditors will review town policies, ordinances and resolutions, and that the audit scope covers July 1 through June 30, 2025. "They sent Jack Roy, who is their senior auditor," the trustee said, adding that staff expects a relatively straightforward process because the town has few assets and no debt.
Relatedly, the board approved a funding agreement with the Development Finance Authority for a project series 2026 citing a not-to-exceed amount of $3,300,000; staff then clarified the town had been awarded a $300,000 grant for the Camp Ranch Road project and legal recommended a minor address correction before execution. Trustees approved the funding agreement and authorized the mayor to execute it after the legal update.
