During the Nov. 17 meeting the Leoti City Governing Body approved a monetary Christmas bonus for city employees and authorized a holiday open-house drawing. Derek Meyer moved to approve a monetary Christmas bonus (motion seconded by Jim Kreutzer); that vote carried unanimously. Kelma Burch later moved, with Derek Meyer seconding, to approve both the employee bonus and the open-house drawing offering a $100 prize and a $50 credit on account; that motion also passed unanimously.
Council recorded the open-house dates as Dec. 11 and 12, 2025. Minutes show no appended conditions or staff directives about funding the bonuses beyond council approval. The meeting record lists no dissenting votes.
