Leoti reviews Neighborhood Revitalization Plan ahead of interlocal agreement renewal discussions

Council discussed the Neighborhood Revitalization Plan and the Interlocal Agreement among the City of Leoti, Wichita County, USD 467 Board of Education, Wichita County Rural Fire District and the Wichita County Cemetery District. The agreement, which provides incentives such as tax rebates to spur new construction and property rehabilitation, is set to expire on June 30, 2026.
Mayor Chris Kreutzer said he will attend the Wichita County Commissioners meeting on Dec. 15, 2025 to discuss the plan with county officials. Council did not record a formal vote on revisions during the Dec. 1 meeting but signaled the item will be on future agendas for further action and coordination with partner districts.
