Leoti council amends pathway plan to add three lighted crosswalks

On a motion by Councilmember Aron White, seconded by Council President Derek Meyer, the City of Leoti amended the Blue Cross Blue Shield Pathway Plan to place three lighted crosswalks at specified locations: 7th Street and Highway 96; the Leoti Foods crossing across K-25; and Indian Road and Highway 96. The motion carried unanimously.
Mayor Chris Kreutzer and council members discussed placement priorities and confirmed the council would proceed with the three crossings previously discussed rather than adding two other sites from the original plan. The council recorded no opposing votes on the amendment.
