Mr. Whitaker said projected revenue from the approved sales tax is "estimated at approximately $700,000 annually, totaling $7 million over a 10-year period." He indicated sales tax collection is expected to begin in October and the City anticipates its first distribution in December 2026 or January 2027.
Council and staff noted a routine administrative resolution remains to be passed as a formality. No additional action beyond acknowledging the certified results was recorded at the March 12 meeting.
