Council approves facility-use agreement with Edgerton Community Food Pantry for Greenspace storage

The Edgerton City Council approved a facility use and maintenance agreement on March 26 allowing the Edgerton Community Food Pantry to continue using Greenspace for storage through December 31, 2026.
Parks and Recreation Director Levi Meyer said the pantry obtained new 501(c) status and that this is the only substantive change from the 2025 agreement. The agreement runs from March 26 through the end of the calendar year; either party may decline to renew with two months' written notice. Council set the annual fee at $2 for the 2026 agreement.
Councilmember Deb Lebakken moved the approval, seconded by Councilmember Ron Conus; the motion carried 4-0. The agreement preserves low-cost community storage for the pantry while providing a clear renewal and termination process for the city and the nonprofit.
