During the director’s report Miss Smalls said the office ran two new poll worker trainings on March 12 (23 attendees) and March 22 (16 attendees), adding 39 new poll workers to the county database. "On March 12, we had 23 people attending. And on March 22...we had 16. So, right now we've got, 39 new poll workers that we can add to our database," she said, and thanked board members who helped recruit and train volunteers.
Staff also reported a near‑complete polling place survey program: 96% of sites have been surveyed for ADA compliance and operational needs. The Director identified a specific issue at the Bluffton Recreation Center where one doorway did not meet requirements but a secondary doorway would serve; staff will continue surveys to finish the remaining three locations and report corrections.
