Melissa Murray, the district Director of Literacy, told the academics committee the literacy team has used Magic School AI to generate practice items aligned to South Carolina standards and assessment boundaries. "We were able to take all of these documents, share it with Magic School, give them proper parameters ... we're looking for 0.167 grade reading level text," Murray said, describing how staff set specific parameters to match state requirements.
