"How are you gonna communicate an emergency to every student in the classes?" she asked, also urging the board to address Chromebook screen time and to consider student‑issued, parent‑accessible email accounts to permit low‑friction parent–student contact during the day.
After public comment the board moved through governance business including acceptance of monthly reports, first‑reading policies, multiple resolutions for field trips and contracts, RFP awards and change orders. The clerk read motions and roll‑call votes for the consent items; the transcript records individual board members answering 'Yes' or 'No' when their names were called.
