HDA lists initial priorities: wastewater, trails, website and municipal facilities

The chair outlined the HDA’s initial wish list of priority projects, which included wastewater collection and a wastewater treatment plant, municipal land acquisition and facilities, development of public trails and marine spaces, signage and wayfinding, and planning for a convention and visitors bureau. He said these priorities came directly from the town’s comprehensive plan work.

Staff noted certain projects (for example loan‑funded projects) may later require separate bank accounts or fund accounting depending on loan documents and grant requirements. Trustees said they will return to substantive project and funding discussions at a later meeting once the audit and initial procedural items are complete.
