Jesse Rankin told the Redevelopment Authority that the Village of Bonduel had been accepted into the Connect Community Program; he noted the program officially begins on July 1 but that resources on the program's website are available now. Rankin also reported that the Village received the $100,000 Small Business Development Grant it requested to seed a façade improvement program for downtown.
Both announcements were presented as informational updates and did not require formal action by the RDA at the May 13 meeting. Rankin said he also plans to work with the Police Chief to invite local car repair businesses to discuss their business plans and how the Village could assist, tying outreach to the new funding and program resources.
