Downtown outreach stalls; RDA tables next steps for Bonduel district

Kristen Fish-Peterson, representing Redevelopment Resources and attending via Microsoft Teams, said she had begun calling downtown business owners as part of the downtown district work but was not getting substantive information. Village staff present told the Authority they had limited time to devote to the project, which slowed progress.
Given the limited information and staff capacity, the RDA agreed by consensus to table the downtown district item and revisit it at a future meeting when more outreach results and staff capacity are available. No new funding or schedule was adopted at the May 13 meeting.
