On February 17 the council recessed into executive session pursuant to K.S.A. 75-4319(b)(1) for five minutes to discuss a nonelected employee evaluation with the mayor, council and city clerk present. The minutes record that the executive session began and the meeting resumed at 7:25 p.m.
After returning to open session, Aron White moved and Kelma Burch seconded to give the employee discussed in executive session an increase in wages; the motion carried unanimously. The minutes do not identify the employee by name or state the amount of the wage increase.
