City Attorney Charles Moser gave a legal update at the Feb. 2 meeting. He said he will meet with the Chief Judge to discuss an ongoing water-leak case and has been in contact with the lawyer for a property nuisance matter in hopes of resolving it.
Moser also informed the council that Salty Pete's has secured a liquor license and will be able to remain open with extended hours for the Super Bowl without applying for a special-event permit. No motions were recorded related to these legal items at the meeting.
