Staff: Council hearing continued; commission recess in August and next meeting Sept. 9
Summary
Planning staff told commissioners the City Council continued a hearing to July 27 (including the Arroyo Lago project), announced a special council meeting on Aug. 11 for the 231 Old Bridal project, previewed an update to objective design standards for multifamily housing and said the commission will be on recess in August with a Sept. 9 meeting scheduled.
Staff briefed the commission on the city's near-term calendar and project items. Planning staff said the City Council hearing that included consideration of the Arroyo Lago project has been continued to Monday, July 27. Staff also announced a special City Council meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 11, which will include consideration of the 231 Old Bridal project.
Staff previewed an upcoming update to the objective design standards (ODS) for residential multifamily development and said general-plan amendments and rezoning text and map amendments for three sites will be on the future planning calendar. The commission was told it will be on recess in August and will reconvene on Sept. 9.
