President Wilde told the Village Board she opened the Community Center Friday night to shelter campers during a storm and noted the concession stand door and lock have been replaced. Wilde also reported the walking trail is closed because of washouts and lack of maintenance.
During public comment, resident Dean Zellmer highlighted ASCS grant opportunities for the trail and said he "would donate some time and equipment to help get it cleaned up." Trustees did not commit to a repair schedule at the meeting; follow-up will depend on development of action plans or coordination with public works and potential grant funding.
