Assistants to the City Administrator Trey Whitaker and Kara Banks presented a Stormwater & Streets update. Whitaker said there was a public open house the prior Saturday with boards on display at the meeting; he advised that ballots related to the measure should arrive in mailboxes this week and are due March 3, 2026, and noted a ballot drop box behind the library.
Banks handed out a draft of a new personnel manual (last updated in 2009). City Administrator Beth Linn told council staff aims to place the employee manual on the council agenda in two weeks; Linn said many policies remain the same (including workplace safety and emergency closures), accruals will not change, and new policies such as social media and AI have been added.
