Resolution No. 03-2026 authorized the Raymer Society for the Arts to serve complimentary alcoholic beverages at listed events, including Cinco de Mayo on May 10, 2026 (5–7 p.m.), Poetry at the Barn on Sept. 26, 2026 (10 a.m.–7 p.m.), and a Members’ Wine & Cheese Party on Nov. 7, 2026 (5–7 p.m.). Councilmember Ericka Lysell moved approval, seconded by Councilmember Lysa Palmer-Augusta; roll call vote passed 8-0.
Resolution No. 04-2026 granted similar authorization to the Smoky Valley Arts & Folklife Center for multiple receptions and events throughout 2026, with sample dates including March 8, 2026 (LBK Collects Reception) and a series of summer and fall receptions. Councilmember Joshua Swanson moved approval, seconded by Council President Rebecca Van Der Wege; roll call vote passed 8-0.
Both notifications were submitted on ABC form 865, the city’s application for nonprofit event promotion that includes complementary alcohol service. The council recorded no conditions or dissent in the minutes.
