Lindsborg council authorizes signatures for CDBG housing application forms

The Lindsborg City Council voted unanimously on March 2 to authorize the city administrator and staff to sign required application documents for a Small Cities CDBG Housing Rehabilitation grant. City Administrator Tanner Faust described the packet of forms, which includes an applicant/recipient disclosure update, assurances and certifications, and an Anti-Displacement and Relocation Assistance Plan the city may adopt if it opts into demolition work.
Megan Unruh of the South Central Kansas Economic Development District provided councilmembers with an overview document explaining each form and its purpose. Councilmember Kirsten Bruce moved to authorize signing of the forms; Councilmember Andrew Smith seconded and the motion passed 7-0 by roll call vote.
