During citizens open forum, resident Sonia Bykovsky (225 Main Street) asked the Select Board to confirm who was recording the meeting and raised two concerns: difficulty navigating the town's new website and uncertainty about where physical legal postings are now located.
Bykovsky said she had trouble with the new website and "didn't even know you need to create account before you can see a calendar," and proposed the town offer an hour‑long tutorial for residents to learn how to use the site. She also reported seeing a notice that said "there are no more physical postings anymore" and asked whether the town had changed the posting practice without a town‑meeting vote. The chair replied that physical postings remain posted in a plexiglass container outside the north side of the building and that the town clerk continues to post items there.
Board members acknowledged the website is a work in progress, said staff (Paul and Deanna) are improving the site, and agreed to use the select board page as a repository for permit and license forms and to coordinate outreach (chamber and cultural district) to ensure residents and small businesses know how to access permit information online.
