On July 6 the City Council approved Contractor's Application for Payment No. 1 to KL Wood & Co. for work on the 4th Street Water Main Replacement Project in the amount of $96,351.37.
Utilities Superintendent Torey Zuver reported that the council had previously approved a change order to install an additional valve to better accommodate future water main extensions; that valve installation is complete and reflected in the current contract amount of $345,481.70 (including prior change orders). The payment of $96,351.37 was authorized by unanimous roll call.
