Residents say Summer Street neighborhood will press planning board after town reply

During public comment, resident Ron Hajdu (85 Summer Street) identified himself and told council he represents about 25 property owners and more than 50 residents who are concerned about an issue in the Summer Street neighborhood. Hajdu said he and other residents had submitted a letter to town staff, received staff comments, and will continue follow-up ahead of the next planning-board meeting.
Hajdu asked the council and staff to consider the neighborhood’s concerns and said residents will attend the planning-board meeting to press their points. Council did not take formal action during the public-comment portion but acknowledged receipt of the concerns and the plan for resident participation at upcoming meetings.
