The director said the initiative focuses on creating entry-level opportunities for people without advanced degrees through 8-to-10-week certificate programs, while also maintaining pathways for higher-education graduates to fill advanced roles. The group aims to remove barriers to hiring by aligning curricula with employer needs and offering stipends where available.
