Staff told the CAB that a district agritourism DCA neighborhood meeting is scheduled for Aug. 5 (online) to introduce a new standard for agritourism businesses and expanded options for farm stands. The session will use the same Zoom link as other district meetings.
Staff also reminded members of upcoming board and commission trainings slated for Aug. 14–15, noting sessions will be 4–5 hours with supplemental training for CABs and an optional meal provided. A separate "Budget 101" session was mentioned as part of county transparency efforts and staff encouraged members to submit questions ahead of the sessions.
Members were asked to RSVP for trainings and to contact staff about makeup options if they cannot attend. Staff said they would resend materials to any member who did not receive the agenda packet.
