Donor Bruce Stevens thanked the board and said he had lived on the site most of his life and wanted the land preserved rather than developed; he offered to sign deed pages and cooperate with trustees. Board members and nearby trustees were acknowledged for their help with surveying and preparing the transfer paperwork.
The board confirmed it will finalize deed pages and obtain the necessary signatures; the select board and trustees will oversee creation and operation if and when the site becomes an active cemetery.
