Council approves Holiday Oil commercial final plat on Main Street with dedicated right‑of‑way for highway widening

The Grantsville City Council on June 17 approved Resolution 2026-39 for a commercial final plat consolidating three parcels at approximately 794 East Main Street for a Holiday Oil development. Community Development staff said the project will include a specialty-drink and snack drive-through, fuel pumps with underground storage tanks, an RV dump station, a car wash, xeriscaping, shared-access easements, and a six-foot fence along the western property line.
Brent Neel, representing Holiday Oil, said the drive-through would operate similarly to the company’s Lake Point location and that lighting would be contained on-site. The applicant dedicated the half-width of a 117-foot right-of-way requested by UDOT for future widening of SR‑112 and proposed a right-in/right-out access on Main Street plus full access on SR‑112; Mr. Neel said site work is expected to begin in mid‑July with a targeted opening in December, subject to final City and UDOT approvals.
