City staff explained the extension was needed after the contractor made construction errors that led to water intrusion. "They're wanting to make that extension to the end of October," staff said, noting the work will be finished sooner than that. The council approved the consent agenda by voice vote after Councilman Wilkins moved and Councilman Jorgensen seconded.
