The board voted to forgive $51 on a customer bill after a previously reported incident in which an outside spigot was left on and consumed 64,000 gallons of water, a trustee said.
The chair explained the customer (identified in the meeting as 'Sarah') provides services to the town and that the usage was ‘‘no fault of her own.’’ A trustee moved and seconded forgiveness of $51; the chair called for the vote and the motion carried by voice vote.
