Board approves personnel package; superintendent introduces new school psychologist

Miss Marshall moved a master personnel motion to approve hires, rehires, reclassifications, retirements, resignations, leaves of absence, tenure items, ancillary/cocurricular and summer hiring under agenda items 3.01–3.08. The motion was seconded and approved unanimously, 6–0.
After the vote Superintendent Brown introduced Mark Simpson, seated in the audience, as the district’s new contract school psychologist. "We are fortunate to have found Mark," Brown said, noting that "school psychologists are extremely difficult to find right now" and congratulating him on his appointment.
