Michael Laflash, the project's historic-preservation consultant, updated the commission on the Globe/Gold Mills redevelopment, saying there have been no recent design changes and "we are on target to start construction in the fall." He told commissioners the development is expected to move forward with historic-tax-credit applications and asked for a letter of support.
Commissioner Jonathan Lima moved that the commission provide a letter of support; after a second the commission voted unanimously to send the letter. Chair Mancini said staff would prepare and send the letter within a day or two.
