City announces mobile pantry, historical society kickoff and code‑enforcement follow‑ups

The manager also said a volunteer group led by Debbie Shaw has agreed to spearhead an Edwardsville Historical Society to collect photos and stories for display in the new city hall public‑library area; the first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 10 a.m. in the training room.
On code enforcement, the council discussed an abandoned, foreclosed property at 110th & Vine. Staff said the property appears in ownership transition and they will place it on the code‑enforcement priority list; if the owner remains unresponsive, the city may pursue demolition per code enforcement procedures.
