City to advance phase 2 of 104th Street sidewalk with ARPA cost‑share; engineering next step

Staff has asked the city engineer to prepare preconstruction and right‑of‑way cost estimates and will combine ARPA sources with other reimbursements where feasible. The manager said he will sign the cost‑share agreement unless the council directs otherwise and will return with engineering cost estimates to guide budgeting and right‑of‑way work.
Council discussed coordinating with KDOT and the Mid‑America Regional Council (MARC/TAP) on future phases and acknowledged the time sensitivity of ARPA deadlines.
