Commission gives property owner 10 days to finish cleanup; warns county abatement if work incomplete

After discussing several options, commissioners voted to allow Carr 10 more days to complete the cleanup; if the property remained in violation they directed staff to proceed with abatement and record a lien for abatement costs.
Staff will report back at the next meeting with a status update and, if abatement proceeds, with estimates for removal and a method for placing the lien. The action is intended to balance an opportunity for the owner to finish corrective work against neighbors’ complaints about extended delays.
