The Citizens Bond Oversight Committee presented its annual report to the Stockton Unified Board, summarizing audits of bond measures dating back to 2019.
Jerry Gonzales, CBOC president, said the committee reviewed financial and performance audits produced by Crowe LLP for Measure E (2012 and 2014) and Measure C (2018) and found no reportable findings for the fiscal year. Gonzales noted the committee revisited prior-year audits (2019–2023) and concurred with the auditors' findings. He highlighted the district's facilities master plan as a tool for aligning bond spending with board priorities and thanked staff for supporting the committee's review.
"We're presenting the annual report for the fiscal year 2024–2025," Gonzales said, adding the audits were "very helpful answering questions that any of the members had." Trustees thanked the committee for its work and accepted the report as presented.
