"It comes to a total of $6,400 to do both projects," the committee representative said, and trustees noted the town currently has roughly $3,500 budgeted. Committee members proposed fundraising and soliciting donations to lower the town’s share; trustees agreed to pursue donations immediately and to revisit the budget at the next meeting to decide whether to obligate contingency funds.
