District updates: bus garage and home field house near completion; band tower footings underway

A project representative (voice 3) showed photos and described progress on capital projects: the bus garage brick façade and metaltrim are nearly complete, HVAC units are in place and slab pours for pits and aprons are scheduled depending on weather; interior mezzanine stairs and eye wash stations were installed. "This is the interior. You can see a lot of stuff is already in place," the representative said while walking through photos.
The home field house exterior steel was color matched and interior showers and concession areas were shown; the band tower footer was being dug this week and progress meetings do not foresee obstacles to the band using the facility next year. The board acknowledged the updates and thanked project staff; no contract awards or change orders were acted on at this meeting.
