Ann DeLong, vice president of the Bower Center Board of Directors, told the council the center will host a Charles Schulz exhibit beginning May 7 and running through at least August 7, and urged the town to partner with local artists to place displays in vacant downtown windows to enhance visitor experience. DeLong cited the center’s willingness to coordinate and connect the exhibit to memorial events tied to D-Day commemorations.
Leslie Mahaffey of the Bedford Museum thanked staff for addressing signage and lighting and described the museum’s banner program (15 banners created with Mosca Design since October 2018) that honors local figures. Warner encouraged listeners to view the full remarks on YouTube for the complete list of banner honorees.
